New Associate Pastor Named
April 27, 2026

A new bivocational associate pastor has been appointed to St. Andrew. Pastor Kristin Bisciglia shares the following:
Hi, I’m Pastor Kristin Bisciglia (buh-SEEL-yuh /it rhymes with Cecelia), and I currently serve as a Licensed Local Pastor at Westpoint UMC. I’m working toward ordination. I’m a student at Methodist Theological School in Ohio working on my Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Social Justice, where I have great opportunities to grow in my understanding of ministry, justice, and what it means to live out our faith in the world.
I have a deep passion for social justice and believe that following Jesus calls us to work for peace, equity, and the transformation of our communities. That passion has also led me to found Transformative Peace in Action, a nonprofit focused on equipping young people with tools for nonviolence and conflict resolution. I look forward to sharing more about that with you.
My husband, Tom, and I have four children, and they are a big part of my life and ministry. You may see them helping in worship, especially through music, which is something our family loves. Wesley is our oldest and is married to Christina. Wes is one of the pianists at Lafayette Grace UMC where I grew up. Matt is our graduating senior and he is heading off to the University of Indianapolis in the fall to study music and religion. He plans to follow my footsteps and become an UM pastor. Emmett is 13 and will be heading into 8th grade at Tecumseh Jr High. Evelyn is our youngest and she is 10 and a rising 6th grader at Sunnyside Intermediate School. Music is a large part of our lives and you can find us at every choir concert, band concert, and musical.
I’m truly grateful to be appointed to St Andrew and I look forward to growing in faith together.
